Worked on both the National and Field accounts for Taco Bell — this included both print and broadcast.

 

Eventually became the creative lead on the Taco Bell Field account for all of North America. Won several awards: LateNight Outdoor-OBIE 2003, XBox Field & National Merchandising-REGGIE

Print ads, digital, and even

a coffee-table book I designed for Hilton Waikoloa Village - for which I shot all the photography. Here are just a few samples.

Here are 3 concepts, and an alternate, that I did for the Contingency Brochure.

And 3 examples of the "Green" print ad series.

 

I did all the backgrounds, photo treatments, and  "grunge" effects by hand.

Created a TON of web assets for these guys, as well as packaging.

 

Much of this work involved creating faux environments to place the product into.

Created a lavish coffee-table book to showcase a proposed luxury resort in Punta Salulita, Mexico.

 

Shown are some sample pages, as well as some print ads and event cards.

I created a great deal of work for Conrad International Hotels.

Posters, print ads, digital ads, banners, multiMedia packages, and brochures.

 

Here are a few samples.

Avery brought me in to create some "out of the box" concepts for two of their products: The Avery Sign Kit, and Avery Photo ID.

 

The Posters concept (top 3 images) were created for a "guerrilla" posting campaign in residential neighborhoods and small business areas.

Handled much of the product photography, mock-ups, and retouching.

 

I also shot and edited an Event Video—which you can find, among others, on the video page of this site.

Was called in to facilitate some new designs for the City of Long Beach's new Transit Program.

I've done a lot of real estate, both commercial and residential, as well as hotels. In both print & digital form.

 

Here's a sampling of several different things.

 

Worked on a wide range of Travel & Tourism pieces - from Amex to Hong Kong.

 

The first six shown here were part of a campaign I designed for The Big Island Visitor's Bureau in Hawaii. This campaign won the 2008 Travel Weekly Magellan Award.

This was a highly-guarded secret at the time —Panasonic was working covertly with United Airlines to implement their seat-back/headrest entertainment kiosks. I was brought in to help with the concept & design of the UX/UI.

 

 Although these look quite dated now, at the time (pre-tablet and smartphone), these touch-screen designs, with swipe gestures, were quite novel.

 

Note: The "blue orb" (top) interface functioned like a "touch-screen track-ball".

The Francisco Bread images (top four) were designed for in-store shelving purposes. Created the iron & wood backgrounds by hand.

 

The next two images were for Bates/Lee Advertising. I designed a new Brand ID for them. They did a lot of travel work - so the business cards reflected "retro" luggage tags, and the "hotel door hanger" was actually a direct-mail piece.

 

Towards the bottom, you'll see some images with a spiritual message. These were commissioned by a local church. The final artwork was transferred to canvas (many over 10' high), and displayed inside.

In the digital realm, I've created everything from email blasts and banners, to full-on websites (including this website, which I designed from "blank page". No templates were used).

Healthcare and Pharma projects require a specific look. And even that depends on whether it's doctor-facing or patient-facing.

Here are samples of both, including web, print, and Powerpoint slides.

I've done a lot of packaging work, for a wide variety of companies — from Beauty to Food to Technology.

There's a surprising amount of local magazines in the area. Real estate, boats, cars, and surf magazines. These periodicals require a very specific look—yet one with which we're all familiar.

Another big account, with very particular guidelines.

 

The examples shown here were all by-products of  production work, on my part.

I've done a variety of retouching work - from product shots to people. There are examples of my product work elsewhere on this site.

 

I've also attached a few images that combine an original photograph with my own painterly-effect.

 

Each is represented by a Before and After image.

I worked on lot's of signage, posters, banner ads, and packaging,  while at Blizzard.

 

Much of the (production) work I did was for their big annual event — BlizzCon.
